We have a selection of walking and off-road cycling adventures for the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for you to choose from. Whether you are an active family with only an hour to spare or you would like to spend more time exploring this nationally important landscape, there's an adventure for you!
The routes are available to view and print at East Devon AONB's i-kiosk located in Otterton Mill. For any matters concerning the Rights of Way contact Devon County Council 0845 155 1004. We recommend OS Explorer maps are used for full access information - 115 and 116 cover the East Devon AONB area and are available online.
Walking and off-road cycling are great ways to enjoy more of our coast and countryside. By following a few simple rules, make your experience a good one for you and all that live and work here too.
The East Devon AONB is part of the same family of protected landscapes as National Parks. It has been protected since 1963 and covers 270 square kilometres of some of Devon's finest countryside and coast. It is the start of England's first natural World Heritage Site - the Jurassic Coast, stretching 95 miles from Exmouth to Old Harry Rocks, Dorset.
